About Us

Proudly serving our community since 1982.

Our Philosophy
At Dandylion Daycare Centre, we believe that each child is a unique person with intrinsic value, whose individuality should be celebrated.
We are wholly inclusive of all children and families as we believe that children learn best when cooperating with others of diverse backgrounds, goals and abilities.
We provide a stimulating, child-centred environment, where each child is supported in self-chosen tasks. This enables emotional, social, intellectual, creative and physical development and builds a sense of independence, responsibility and self-worth.
We strive to make learning an enjoyable, rewarding experience and allow all children to develop and grow at their own pace.
Here, children will begin to form the skills which set the foundation for lifelong learning. Our entire program is based on respect, caring and cooperation. Staff and families work together with the aim that the children will recognize, learn and then share these qualities with others, throughout their lives.

"Childhood is the most beautiful of all life's seasons."

Board of Directors
Dandylion Daycare Centre is a private, not-for-profit childcare provider governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
Our Board is comprised of parent/guardians of enrolled children. They work closely with Centre Management, oversee Centre operations including programs, finances, human resources and develop policies to meet legislative requirements.
The Board meets monthly and welcomes interested parents/guardians of enrolled children to become members for two-year terms.
For more information on our Board of Directors, please see our Board of Directors Information Board located near our Annex site entrance.
